Dining Out

If the kitchen isn't your favourite room in the house you'll be pleased to know there are plenty of hotels nearby to satisfy your hunger. All of these local watering holes are within 15 minutes easy drive of The Poor House. For a very modest charge we are happy to taxi small groups to and from any one of these venues.

Transport for Tongue (T4T) provide regular bus services to, Lairg, Skerray and Inverness. T4T are the only bus operator currently providing a direct service from Inverness to Tongue. For more information & timetables please click here to visit their website.
